Checklist Please

It is mid-April, and the weekend forecast calls for temperatures in the 80s. Now, in New England, until we’re safely past Memorial Day, Mother Nature can double back on her temperature tracks without a moment’s notice. Still, it’s difficult to put off the beginning steps of boat preparation with comfortable temperatures at hand. So, this weekend, I’ll start the list: wash, wax, engine maintenance, hull painting, etc. It’s a sizeable list although the old boat is in overall shape overall. Once it’s drafted, I’ll establish my strategy and lay out the action plan to ensure a late May splash date. Is it time for you to draft your list and start the wheels of progress moving?
