Boat Shows
For many boaters, Fall is not the best of seasons; summer is over and winter is fast approaching. However, there is one bright spot, namely the Fall boat shows. A few of the larger, better-known, Fall shows are the Newport Boat Show in September; the U.S. Powerboat Show in Annapolis, MD from 10/15-10/18; and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in Fort Lauderdale, FL from 11/5-11/9. If you’re shopping for a new craft, boat shows allow you to easily compare similar boats, side-by-side, and if you’re shopping for a pre-owned vessel, the brokers’ boards are filled with listings to talk with representatives about. Finally, if you’re not in the market, but just looking to stay connected to the water scene, attending a boat show can be the perfect solution. Make sure you don’t miss out on these events before the snow flies once more.
