Have I got $2,500?
That was the frequent cry from the auctioneer at the NH Boat Museum auction last weekend. The auction is an annual event at the Wolfeboro NH-based boat museum and it featured some great bargains on some really interesting boats, engines, and accessories. Auctioned items included an all aluminum small cruiser built years ago by an airplane manufacturer that sold for very short money, and a wood Chris-Craft speedboat that didn’t quite make reserve. In addition to the rare craft, there were plenty of bargains on the more common craft like a garden variety, but very clean, freshwater fiberglass Glastron boat from the late 1970s. If you’re looking to support a good cause and capture a great bargain, don’t overlook the NH Boat Museum’s event next July.
