Self-Drive Canal Boating in Canada, Spring 17

Le Boat, a service company with 900 self-drive canal cruisers among various European countries, is planning to offer the service in Canada next Spring. The company plans to operate 16 self-drive vessels in the canal which connects Ottawa and Kingston. The boats are configured much like American houseboats with kitchens, baths, and bedrooms. Rental of one of these vessels could be a very interesting way to combine boating and site-seeing activities in one vacation.
