Christmas is on the horizon and a number of good gift ideas are surfacing. Some are simple like a solid stainless steel serrated blade pocket knife which can be worth its weight in gold when a line needs to be cut in a hurry. Here in New England, December is somewhat of a mixed bag for boaters. Monday, December 21 is the shortest day of the year and Friday, December 25 is Christmas.
