The New England Boat Show, scheduled to start in just a few short weeks, represents a ray of light over an otherwise dark and cold environment. New England Boat Show, Feb. 8-16
The first large local boat show of the season is coming up fast. The New England Boat Show, established in 1955, will feature boats and engines from major manufacturers such as Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Cobia, and Yamaha, Mercury, and Evinrude. In addition, there will be a number of educational seminars presented, and kid’s activities available. Show hours at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center vary by day, but will typically extend from 12 pm to 6 pm. More information is available at https://www.newenglandboatshow.com/
Progressive® Insurance New England Boat Show, February 13-21
The annual winter boating show will fill the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center when it kicks off in about two weeks. As usual, the show will feature powerboats, sailboats, and marine accessories. Seminars will be offered on servicing outboards, stern drives, and inboards, as well as other topics such propellers and accessory installation. Daily workshops will cover a variety of topics from docking procedures to navigation. If you need to break out of the mid-winter blues, this show could be just the ticket.
