Boat Safety Inspection – June 27th

The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be at the Manchester Yacht Club on Saturday, June 27th between 0800 and 1200 to conduct vessel safety inspections. During the inspection, examiners will come aboard your boat to check your basic safety equipment, and your registration documentation. The inspection takes about 30 minutes per boat and by passing it, your boat receives an inspection sticker visible to the Coast Guard and other interested parties. DUI Lawyer Charged with Drunk Boating

The lawyer was driving “Naut Guilty”, a 29-foot powerboat, when a 19 year old woman passenger jumped overboard to retrieve a seat cushion. As the young woman struggled to get back on-board, her arm was cut off just above the elbow by the propeller. The DUI lawyer tested over the legal limit, even after a four hour waiting period, and is being held on $75,000 bail for drunk boating.
