New England Boat Show, February 9-17th

The New England Boat Show is currently underway at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. I attended on Friday, and can vouch for the wide variety of boats and marine supplies on sale. All the established guys were there – Boston Whaler, Formula, Zodiak, Evinrude, Suzuki, etc., along with a number of less known, up and coming, manufacturers in the various categories. Marine service providers from upholstery firms to re-power specialists were well represented. Large shows like this one are a great way to do comparison shopping and get your key questions answered from knowledgeable staff. If you’re a Boston-area boater, you’ll definitely want to put this show on your weekend shortlist.
