Boat Safety Inspection – June 27th

June 26, 2015

The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be at the Manchester Yacht Club on Saturday, June 27th between 0800 and 1200 to conduct vessel safety inspections. During the inspection, examiners will come aboard your boat to check your basic safety equipment, and your registration documentation.

The inspection takes about 30 minutes per boat and by passing it, your boat receives an inspection sticker visible to the Coast Guard and other interested parties.

There is no risk to being inspected. Should your boat be missing any required equipment or documentation, only you and the inspector will know that, and it will not be reported to the Coast Guard. The focus is on boat safety and not law enforcement.
