The annual New England Boat show is scheduled for this week. It should be a good show for comparing different models of boats that might fill your current or future needs.
Something to bear in mind is that while many boats look similar at first glance, oftentimes there are important differences in quality. If you’re going to use your boat on a limited basis in a small fresh water lake, the quality differences probably won’t make much difference. However, if you’re going to be banging thru big ocean swells on a regular basis, the fact that a boat is bolted together in certain places, rather than screwed, could be significant.
