Show Time

While some on-the-water activities are slowing down, one is gearing up, namely the 44th Annual Newport Boat Show in Newport, R.I. One of the largest in-water shows in the country, the show features boats, both in the water and on dry land. There are always lots of accessory retailers present, and I’ve found some really good deals among the sale items on display over the years. There doesn’t appear to be a Boston-based show scheduled this fall, so if you’re in the New England area, this will be your last chance to attend this sort of event this year. The show is scheduled to run from September 11-14. See you there.
