It is hot and sunny in southern Florida, perfect weather for attendees of the FLIB show which wraps up today. Naturally, with a show this large, there is a broad array of boats on display, but a few caught my attention when recently reading the reviews. The Ferretti group displayed the 48 Wallytender, a luxury yacht tender that can achieve 48 knots when powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS650s which deliver a total of 960 horsepower. 60th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 30-Nov. 3
There’s an exciting boat show on the horizon, the 60th Annual Fort Lauderdale show. This show is large, with three million square feet of exhibit space, spread over 7 locations, and 6 miles of docks. Twelve hundred exhibitors will display 1,500 boats, of all shapes and sizes, from dinghies to super yachts. So, if you need an excuse to re-connect with the boating lifestyle in warm weather surroundings, this event could be just the ticket for you.
