That was the frequent cry from the auctioneer at the NH Boat Museum auction last weekend. The auction is an annual event at the Wolfeboro NH-based boat museum and it featured some great bargains on some really interesting boats, engines, and accessories.

“Be careful, and keep your hands and fingers clear” was the warning from the captain of a large sailboat to his first mate as they approached the fiberglass mooring mast.

Just last weekend while boating on Cape Ann, a dangerous situation arose between two boats crossing paths. A large sailboat, about 45-50’ long, under power, was exiting a mooring field that was protected from the open ocean by a tall granite breakwater.

Recently, a friend, was returning from the mooring with three friends in a small dinghy. As they pulled up to the dock, one friend hopped out and tried to hold the boat close to the dock.

If you like classic wood boats- Chris-Crafts, Garwoods, Centurys, etc., boat museums are the places to go.

Repair and refurbish your electronics or purchase new, that's the question.
